Every call
Every call to your number goes straight to Miya. Best when you are rarely free to answer, or want one consistent greeting.

Book a demoHow it works
An AI receptionist answers business calls by turning the caller's speech into text, deciding what they need with a language model and replying in a computer-generated voice. It answers from the details you give it and can act on the call, such as booking a time. With RingOut, setup takes three steps and usually finishes on the same day.
Built for Australian local businesses
Setting up RingOut takes three steps: choose a plan, teach Miya your business, then divert your number. There is no hardware to install and nothing changes for your callers except that someone always answers.
Pick the plan that matches your call volume. Starter suits a sole trader, and Growth, Professional and Business add minutes, numbers and features as you grow.
About 5 minutesAdd your services, prices, opening hours, service area and the questions you always ask before booking. Connect Google Calendar or Calendly so Miya can see when you are free.
About 30 minutesSet a call divert with your carrier so calls reach RingOut. You choose whether every call goes to Miya or only the ones you cannot get to. Your number and phone stay the same.
About 10 minutesYour carrier controls when calls are diverted, so you decide how much Miya handles. There are step-by-step divert guides for the four big carriers, and the setting can be changed whenever you like.
Every call to your number goes straight to Miya. Best when you are rarely free to answer, or want one consistent greeting.
Calls divert only when your line is already engaged, so a second caller is never left waiting.
You get a chance to pick up first, and anything you miss goes to Miya instead of voicemail.
Calls outside your opening hours go to Miya, while you answer during the day. Set this with your carrier or phone system schedule.
Once your number is diverted, every call follows the same four stages, whether it arrives at 10 am or 10 pm.
Your business name opens the call, followed by a quick note that the caller is talking to AI.
She works out why the person is calling and asks the questions you have set for that kind of job.
She answers from your knowledge base, books a time in your calendar, or marks the call for you when a person is needed.
Each call gets an outcome label, and from Growth up a recording, transcript and short summary as well.
An AI receptionist combines speech recognition, a language model, a knowledge base, a synthetic voice and a calendar connection, all working within a fraction of a second on each turn of the conversation.
RingOut runs on its own once it is live, but every part of how Miya behaves can be adjusted from your dashboard.
Change a price or your holiday hours and the next caller hears the new version.
Choose the Australian voice callers hear, with more voices on the larger plans.
Decide what Miya asks before she books, quotes or passes a call to you.
Switch between every call, missed calls or after-hours cover through your carrier.
Read outcomes for each call, with summaries and recordings from the Growth plan.
Connect Google Calendar or Calendly, and Miya only offers times that are free.
Step one is picking the plan that fits your call volume. Every plan is set up the same way, and you can move to a bigger plan as calls grow.

An AI receptionist listens to the caller with speech recognition, uses a language model to understand what they want, and replies in a synthetic voice. It draws its answers from the business details you provide and can take actions such as booking an appointment. RingOut does all of this on calls diverted from your existing number.
You set a call divert with your carrier, either from your phone settings or with a short code. RingOut provides setup guides for Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and TPG, and the same idea applies to most business phone systems. A test call then confirms the divert works before customers ring.
The essentials are your services, prices, opening hours and the areas you cover, plus any questions you always ask before booking. The more detail you add, the more calls she can finish without needing you, and you can add more detail at any time from the dashboard.
She tells the caller she will pass it on, takes their details and marks the call as needing you. She does not invent prices or policies, so anything outside your knowledge base comes back to you. Add that answer once and she can handle it next time.
She checks your Google Calendar or Calendly for open times, offers the caller a slot that suits, books it and reads the time back. Because the sync works both ways, slots you fill yourself stay hidden from callers, and each new booking shows up in your diary as soon as the caller hangs up.
Yes. Miya introduces herself as an AI receptionist at the start of every call. Most callers carry on as normal, because she follows everyday speech, and anyone who would rather talk to a person can leave their details for you to call them back.
Yes. Most carriers let you divert calls only when you are busy or do not answer, so you can pick up when you are free and let Miya handle the rest. You can also divert every call, or only calls outside your opening hours.
Expect to be answering calls through RingOut on the day you start. Choosing a plan takes a few minutes, adding your business details and connecting your calendar takes around half an hour, and the call divert is usually a quick change with your carrier.
No. Your current number stays exactly as it is, and a divert sends calls on to RingOut. Callers dial the number they already know, from your website, van or business cards, and you can switch the divert off whenever you like to take calls yourself again.
Yes. Edit any answer in your dashboard and the change applies from the next call. Updating holiday hours, prices or service areas takes moments, and there is nothing to re-record or retrain. Many businesses fine-tune their answers in the first week as they read real call outcomes.
RingOut costs $49 a month on Starter, for 60 answered minutes, up to $699 a month on Business for 1,750 minutes. Prices are in Australian dollars before GST, and there is no setup fee, so the monthly plan is the whole cost of running it.
The quickest way to get started is to pick a plan, add your services and hours, connect your calendar and set a call divert. Most owners finish in under an hour. If you would rather hear Miya first, a short demo shows her answering a sample call for your business before you sign up.
